Environmental and potential assessment of straw of cereal crops using as a biofuel
Annotation
Straw of cereal crops is a perspective source of renewable energy. Effective using of straw defined by several factors, one of them is environmental assessment. The article cover balance methods of straw potential assessment and some results of environmental impact assessment. It was defined that straw storing in the field cause decreasing of corrosion elements in biomass. The contents of ash created at the result of straw firing have been detected. It was determined that in accordance with existing agricultural practice contents of heavy metals in ash not exceed standards for EU countries. Environmental assessment showed that straw may be used as mineral fertilizer for agricultural crops.
