IMITATION MODELING OF ASSEMBLING OF SCREW PAIRS OF MACHINE-BUILDING COMPONENTS BASED ON COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY DATA
Annotation
The generalized Hough transform is applied for derivation of geometric primitives (helicoids) from 3D distribution of screw pair density obtained with computer tomographic system. Transformation of the density field into 3D image and subsequent imitation modeling is carried out with the use of marching cubes algorithm method. The initial data for various screws thread are derived with the use of the Carl Zeiss Metrotom 1500 CT scanner.
